More on Jim...
Jim began his career as a Script Consultant while working for Peter Scott and Torque Entertainment. His tenure as a script consultant consisted of reading scripts, writing coverage, and discussing the scripts at the various story meetings. He learned a lot about scripts while working as a consultant, most importantly that no script is too broken. No matter what the writer may think, or what the “industry" might tell them, each and every script has a unique thread which allows it to stand apart from other scripts. Jim learned this philosophy while acting as a script consultant for Torque, but also while consulting for Chad Feehan and Catchfire Films. There, Jim was able to take his experience as a script consultant and build on it. Chad only reinforced the idea that with the right consultant any script can find its way into the hands of the right person. Of course Jim has had several other experiences as a script consultant, but there is no need to bore you with all that. Just know that Jim will treat each and every script with a great degree of professionalism because he knows there are hundreds of script consultants out there you could have chosen other than him.
Still more...
As a ghostwriter, Jim has worked with several clients with more on the horizon. He understands hiring a ghostwriter can be difficult, but he also knows that having an objective, secondary source ghostwrite your original idea can be invaluable. Some of the greatest stories out there have become what they are because of ghostwriters and the skills that they are able to bring to the table. The best advice anyone gave Jim was that ghostwriters will never be considered the author of any one work; instead, they are just what the name implies: ghostwriters. They are there to assist the author in their quest for the perfect story, and when all is said and done, the ghostwriter will continue to ghostwrite other projects while the author will hopefully do the same.
